LinkedIn introduced Intro in October of last year. After installing Intro I noticed the app inserted some peculiar CSS into the email which allowed the email to feature an interactive profile of the sender. Curious, I started to experiment with advanced CSS within email and that eventually led to creating this blog. The experiments with CSS lead to some cool techniques to create rollover or image swapping effects in webmail and mobile email.

Unfortunately, LinkedIn has decided to shut down Intro. I’m glad at least something came out of that – Interactive Email!
