Gmail Reverts Interactive Email Disabling Change

Well that was quick! A day after Gmail made changes to their CSS filters blocking interactive CSS elements, they’ve seemingly rolled it back.
What we don’t know if this would be temporary as well. When Gmail rolled out their iOS font size changes, they rolled it back 3 days later but then made the change again a month later. The iOS font change actually broke a ton of regular emails whereas the interactive CSS changes only affected interactive emails. Perhaps the folks at Gmail are… listening to us?
Lets keep our fingers crossed that this isn’t temporary, but for the moment we can delight Gmail users with rollovers and carousels in Gmail :)
This still doesn’t work in Gmail for me. http://freshinbox.com/blog/image-carousel-for-email-tool/
Is this something I’m doing wrong or have gmail updated something again to prevent it from working? I’m just seeing a blank space where the carousel should be.
